Heavy Heart-Jesus Come

Thursday, 30. September 2010 6:50

Yesterday was emotionally taxing. The good thing is, all I have to do is stand strong on God’s promises and let him do all the work. Please continue to pray for my boy Adam Bretag as he battles anorexia and bulimia. Adam is 6’3 and used to weigh 200 pounds and he is now down 122 pounds. I DECLARE VICTORY FOR ADAM OVER THIS DEVIL. BE GONE IN THE NAME OF JESUS. He still needs $25,000-30,000 for treatment and the time is now. If you have any leads please let me know. To read more about Adam’s story click on Adam’s button on the right of your screen.

Please also pray for a young man I met yesterday. He is seeking and searching and I pray he turns to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. To the young man I met with yesterday God has a plan for your life and for your families life. You can do anything through him and he can heal everything you are going through and guide your life to places you have never imagined. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s. Let nothing get in the way of what he has planned for you. Dive in and watch the Lord blow your mind.

Please pray for the Bastian family as their dad Jim died 2 days ago. If you remember we had been praying for him the last couple months as he was fighting cancer. The awesome thing is he is now free from cancer with a new body in Heaven and we will get to see him again one day praise Jesus.

Please pray for me and some things that are burning in my heart. Speak clarity Lord, charted course, I will see it.

Faith/Tithing

Wednesday, 29. September 2010 6:01

Wednesday! Good morning. I received this email from my friend Sue yesterday and I thought you would enjoy reading it. Have a blessed day.

Neal

Below is a testimony from Peter Wagner that I wanted to pass on, to encourage all of you to obey God – especially when it comes to some of our hardest tests – finances! When God prompts you to give above and beyond your 10% tithe to your church, obey Him in faith! Love to all, Sue

Dear Friends:

I just returned from a ministry trip to Korea (where we graduated 36 WLI students) and I want to give you an update. I had a wonderful meeting with our benefactor, Deacon Lee. What a story he told me with a big smile on his face! Here is what happened. Around three years before my birthday, he had purchased a large piece of land in order to expand his business. He is a pioneer of the recycling industry in Korea. The land went into the governmental environmental division for a study in order for him to qualify for a building permit. It was a difficult case, and he ultimately took it to court. However, shortly before he came to Pasadena to give me the check, he was notified that the judge had decided against him and he lost the case! You can imagine how saddened and discouraged he was when he arrived in Pasadena.

But wait. He sowed the seed, and blessed Global Harvest Ministries tremendously with a $120,000 check.

About two days after Deacon Lee returned to Korea he received a phone call from the judge who said that he needed some more details concerning the case. Deacon Lee provided the information. Then a couple of days later the judge called him again to notify him that he had reversed his decision!! What a God thing! Do you know how much that decision was worth to Deacon Lee’s business? It was worth ten million dollars!! We were all rejoicing!

Sowing seed? I pulled out my calculator. Deacon Lee gave $120,000 and in about two weeks it had multiplied by 87 times! An 8,700 percent increase!

Blessings,
Peter (Wagner)

The Race Of Faith

Tuesday, 28. September 2010 5:45

Hebrews 12:1-2
1Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Lord Jesus give us all the strength to get rid of any encumbrance and sin that is keeping us from all that you have for us. We fix our eyes on you Jesus. We want to be more and more like you. Our joy is in you and complete. We look to you as the object of faith and salvation. You are our rock and strength. We need more of you. We praise you King.

Have an amazing day people across the world. Thanks for checking out the site. Expect God to do mighty things in your life today. Expect it!

Faith Like Noah

Sunday, 26. September 2010 8:34

I was re-reading Hebrews 11 and I encourage you to do the same and I realized I want faith like Noah had. In verse 7 it says,”by faith Noah being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverance prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world.” It says in my study Bible it took Noah about 100 years to build the ark. Can you imagine how many people were probably laughing at Noah, mocking him, and talking behind his back. I went through that when I gave my life to the Lord 15 years ago. People who I thought were my friends thought I was out of my mind, talked behind my back and basically walked away from me. I had to have a radical faith in the Lord to get me through those first 2 years of being a born again believer. It was tough but just like Noah in the end it’s worth all the pain and sacrifice to follow the Lord in every area of my life. I love the word “reverance.” Reverance is basically having a profound respect and awe towards God and that’s what Noah had and this is how I am going to live my life and have the obedience Noah had in my daily life.

I mentioned above that when I gave my life to Jesus 15 years ago that is was the hardest 2 years of my life. I received an eamil last night from a young man who had gotten himself into some trouble and when he sat down to talk things out with his parents he realized he had lost “himself”. I also felt that way 15 years ago. I had lost myself, didn’t know who I was or what I wanted to do with my life. I was far away from the Lord not knowing he was right next to me the whole time. I learned during those 2 years who Christ is, what he did on the Cross, and I learned who God says I am through his word the Bible. That changed everything. I now had an identity through Christ Jesus and a purpose for my life and here we are 15 years later still going strong and sold out for the Lord 100%.

For those of you who do not know Jesus yet click here to learn about Jesus and to say the Salvation Prayer that will change your life forever. He knows you better then anyone and already knows what you need before you even ask. If you have any questions please leave a comment below or email me anytime. I will be praying for your Salvation all day and into the future.

Faith Without Works Is Dead

Friday, 24. September 2010 7:21

I want to challenge you all this morning. As you know I have been talking alot about Faith the last few days. Let’s get out in the world today and show everyone what it means to live for and follow Christ. Let’s show them through what we say, what we do and how we live our lives. Let’s show Jesus that we trust in his plan, that we trust in the unseen, and that no matter what we are going through we will take it head on without fear knowing that faith in Christ is perfect and that he delivers every time. The Bible is our guide and truth. Please read below and let nothing stop you from the powerful faith in Christ.

Neal

James 2:14-26 (New American Standard Bible)
Faith and Works
14(A)What use is it, (B)my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him?
15(C)If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food,

16and one of you says to them, “(D)Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?

17Even so (E)faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

18(F)But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your (G)faith without the works, and I will (H)show you my faith (I)by my works.”

19You believe that [a](J)God is one (K)You do well; (L)the demons also believe, and shudder.

20But are you willing to recognize, (M)you foolish fellow, that (N)faith without works is useless?

21(O)Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?

22You see that (P)faith was working with his works, and as a result of the (Q)works, faith was perfected;

23and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “(R)AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS,” and he was called (S)the friend of God.

24You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

25In the same way, was not (T)Rahab the harlot also justified by works (U)when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way?

26For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also (V)faith without works is dead.

FAITH

Wednesday, 22. September 2010 17:24

The Lord is blowing my mind the last 7 days how he is speaking to me so clearly. Sometimes I feel like I can’t hear a word he is saying to me and then there are periods of time when he is speaking so crystal clear it’s amazing. I know the times I cant hear him is because I have allowed the world to clutter my mind. In the past couple days the Lord has spoken to me through facebook, music, text message, his word, family, and yesterday through a dream a friend had. A couple days ago I had spoken to a friend about what was on my mind and she encouraged me with some good advice then yesterday she came to me with a dream she had about how in her dream she saw Jesus crystal clear and he kept lighting candle after candle and telling her “to be light”. When she came out to tell me about the dream I had just got done telling another friend that where ever we are and whatever we are doing we need to be a light to everyone around us. It was awesome confirmation as I have been complaining a bit to much lately and I need to be quiet, get over it and get back out and do what we are all called to do as born again Christians and that is to love the Lord with all of our heart, mind, body, and soul and to love our neighbor.

So then last night before bed I turned off the TV and computer to have a quiet time with the Lord and I asked him where I should be reading tonight in the Bible and I opened the Bible right to Hebrews 11 and the title is “by faith we understand.” I knew once I saw the title that the Lord was about to speak to me crystal clear again and of course the first verse says,” now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” The whole rest of the chapter talks about different stories in the Bible that required faith and each story is incredible.

I encourage you to click here and read the entire chapter and soak in what FAITH can do if we only believe and walk in it and trust in God. Father God I pray that FAITH will be stamped on everyones heart who is reading this. A Dunamis Faith that will not waiver to the left or the right. Faith in you is a 100% guarantee. Amen

What Do You Want Me To Do For You?

Tuesday, 21. September 2010 7:56

I was over at my parents house yesterday debriefing about life and my mom brought up Luke 18:35-43 and it really spoke to me. There are some things in my life I want to happen right his minute, things I have been praying about for years that to be quite honest with you I am sick of waiting for. In verse 41 Jesus asks Bartimaues who is blind “What do you want Me to do for you.” The blind man says “Lord I want to regain my sight”. Jesus then tells him receive your sight your FAITH has made you well. As usual the Lord put me in check and had to remind me its all about FAITH. I love how Jesus asked him what the blind man wanted him to do. He probably had such a calm and confident voice so full of power. So when I got home I just gently reminded the Lord the desires of my heart and handed it back over to him which I should have been doing all along. Now I am going to go back out and do my part, do what the Lord has called me to do in this moment and I know he is going to do his part and be right on time.

Neal

Bartimaeus Receives Sight
35As Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging.

36Now hearing a crowd going by, he began to inquire what this was.

37They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.

38And he called out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

39Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

40And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him,

41″What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!”

42And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.”

43Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.

Expect God’s Favor

Monday, 20. September 2010 7:19

Your crisis in not a surprise to God. Nothing can happen to you without God’s permission. He has an end for your crisis. Expect God’s favor. God wants to turn your test into a testimony.

Meeting Specific Needs

Sunday, 19. September 2010 8:48

I have been reading the book of James the last couple of days and it has been rocking my world. God has been speaking directly to me and I love when he is crystal clear with me. Please do not be afraid to send in your prayer requests so we can pray for you. Sometimes God is waiting for us to take the first step by admitting we need help in a specific area before he acts. In verse 16 it talks about confessing your sins to one another and I was very fearful of that until I went to Chester Delagneau’s Bible study in 1999-2000. My whole life up until that point was hiding all of my issues and fears because I thought I was the only one going through these issues and that people would judge me and think I was a freak.

Then Chester gave his testimony in front of about 20 people and my jaw hit the ground. I couldnt believe how open and honest he was about what he was going through and no one was laughing at him or judging him. Then after the Bible study he asked me to give my testimony next the following week and that caused me to step out of my comfort zone and changed my life forever. I gave my testimony and trusted the Lord would speak through me no matter what anyone thought and I have never looked back since.

I have a group of guy friends who I can go to and tell them if I am blowing it in a particular area or struggling in my life and they will lift me up, pray, lay hands on me, listen, and give me wise council in love. I know they have my best interest at heart and always have my back. So do not be afraid to reach out to me or someone you trust in your life. I am here to lift you up and walk by your side as is Christ who is sitting right next to you right now. Click here to start a personal relationship with the Savior of the world right now!

Neal

James 5:13-16
13Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.

14Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;

15and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.

16Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
