Brian “Head” Welch

Monday, 28. February 2011 6:16

I saw Brian “Head” Welch formerly of the band Korn on the show Huckabee on Saturday night and I thought I would post his testimony and a song from his album I really like. I also highly recommend his books. He is part of the reason I created Neal To The Cross. About 4 years ago he launched his own website that really touched my heart and inspired me to step out with my online ministry all for the glory of Christ. While with Korn he was lost in a dark world of drugs, alcohol and the trappings of being famous and once he asked Jesus into his heart as Lord and Savior his life changed forever. You can make that same choice and change right this moment by clicking here. Nothing is impossible with Jesus. NOTHING!

Christian Mingle

Sunday, 27. February 2011 8:39

All right people I have a confession to make. I have sucked up my ego and I am trying out ChristianMingle.com for the first time. I can’t stand Christian dating sites of any kind but it seems at the age of 37 I have lost my mojo lol. Please pray for me in this area as getting married is the desire of my heart. I along with many of my close friends having been praying for my wife to be(whoever she is) for many years. So I know through trust, patience, faith, and obedience through this process we will come together at the right time. If you know of any Christian women who are in love with Jesus and might want to go on a blind date with yours truly please let me know lol.

Anyways, enjoy your Sunday.

p.s.-to my mom who is reading this right now I am finally listening to you on this one. Love you!

Compassion and Serving and Moldova

Saturday, 26. February 2011 7:55

I want to give a special shout out to the people of Chisinau in the Republic of Moldova. You guys have been checking out my site the last week and the number is growing so thank you. I went to Wikipedia and read up about Moldova and prayed blessings, peace, joy, healing, and revival for your area so expect it. Let me know if you guys have any prayer requests.

Rooted” bible study page 142.
Talking about compassion and serving, “not only can we give to others, but we are not above receiving from those we serve.” We are not superior or above the ones we are serving. “Serving is 2 sided as we receive as musch as we give in service.” Man, those words really touched my heart and I will definatley look at serving in a different way from now on.

Stay warm and dry today. Let me know how I can pray for you.

Retirement Home

Friday, 25. February 2011 6:27

Had a great time last night hanging out with some retired peeps. For most of the evening I sat with 2 retired ladies in their 80′s and just hung out and told stories which was awesome. Sitting quietley and listening to a persons life story is so powerful. After chatting for a while 2 of us prayer walked the outside of the building and then went back inside and prayer walked the halls. Every door had the person name on it so we were able to pray blessings and healing over each person. We passed a door that was open and a woman immediatley invited us in which took us by surprise as she had no idea who we were. She said she had arthritis in her legs so I asked if we could lay hands on her and pray for healing and she said yes. The rest of our Bible study was playing black jack and other board games and just having a good time. Please pray for all the people at the retirement home.

One last thing. When you talk to someone about Jesus make sure not to force anything on them. Plant the seed, tell the story, see if they are receptive and if they are not take a step back and let the Holy Spirit do His thing. You know what I mean when you talk to someone about politics or their favorite sports team no matter what you tell them they are not going to change or listen. Trust in the Holy Spirit to open their eyes and heart. Let Him speak to the person in a supernatural way. That’s just my opinion and every person preaches the word in their own way but we need to be sensitive sometimes.

Have an awesome Friday. You are all prayed up.

Game Time

Thursday, 24. February 2011 16:19

Please pray for me and my Bible study group tonight from the hours of 6pm-8pm pacific standard time. We are going to a retirement home to play games and fellowship with some awesome people. Pray for open hearts and let’s get some people saved and healed. COME HOLY SPIRIT!

Words of encouragement for the day.
Philippians 4:4-9
4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! 5 Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Today was a good day people. My brother in Christ Chester Delagneau told me to read Phillipians 4 last night and guess what. I was instantly humbled and got my mind back on track. The Bible is Power people and it will change your life in a blink of an eye. To read more about John Kloos search his name in the search box at the top right of your screen. The Holy Spirit words through John will touch you deep in your heart.

Hello Saints we are meeting this Friday night at 7:30 PM February 25th. The address is: 5082 Argosy in Huntington Beach 92649. The link to the website is http://RobinwoodChurch.com There will be childcare.

Our heavenly Father speaks with such affection toward us. He calls us His beloved. By power He could easily change the disposition of this world and the battle we are in. Instead, through the revelation of Christ, His son, He has made known the riches we have in Him and has decided through us that the weakest of us would be a light on a hill that darkness can’t overcome. It pleased Him to reveal Himself to the foolish, lowly, weak and those in need of a savior that we would be transformed into His likeness and put on display for the world to see the glory of Christ in us. As our carnality dissolves we increase in our heavenly calling we actually conquer the darkness around us with the light that He put in us. Its not really a contest when we learn through intimacy with Him to overcome evil with His goodness.

Father wants you to understand, believe and walk in the freedom of who He has said that you are in His beloved son. The identity crisis of His children is being stripped away by the revelation of His goodness and faithfulness to bring us into Christ that the kingdom that He put in you comes alive to represent the greater glory of heaven where the darkness of this realm has to give way to a superior love of the Kings realm. The lord is not concerned with our inadequacies, inferiorities, unworthiness and all the self deprecation that we have heard from the enemy. He has made us superior in every way in Christ. He has clothed us in power filled with Holy Spirit, His presence never leaves us, we are heirs with Christ, we have a position of great favor as His beloved we only have to ask and believe and be filled to overflowing and move in the overflowing abundant life in Him.You are destined for glory and victory to see every form of darkness destroyed by the finished work of the cross. He loves it when we choose to believe Him and overcome our circumstance that through a faith that pleases Him you put darkness to flight. He loves to see His children grow up in the kingdom through success being built up daily in the revelation of the supremacy of Christ in everything.

The Kingdom of God will manifest this Friday night to the delight of the Father. Sickness, despair, discouragement, weariness, depression and every stronghold of darkness mated with unbelief will flee in His presence. We live in the riches of His love today. He is found and has made himself known to His beloved in this age. We have inherited a rich gospel to His joy. He is joy and loves our joy in Him. May the faithfulness of God draw you to this evening with Him as you are called to release the kingdom of God that He put in you through every manner of worship and praise.

You are His beloved and favored and blessed and cared for and known by Him your are surrounded in light and love. You are the victorious bride.

Blessings,

john

Later Fear

Monday, 21. February 2011 8:06

2 Timothy 1:7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Isaiah 41:10. Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

ONCE YOU STEP INTO FEAR IT IS BEHIND YOU! I come against the devil of fear today. BE GONE in the name of JESUS. As born again believers we have been given a spirit of power, love and self discipline and You are always with us. You can do it people. Step out today.

Live A Certain Way?

Saturday, 19. February 2011 8:03

Man it rained cats and dogs last night here in Southern California. I was reading my “Rooted” Bible study a couple nights ago and it was talking about reconciliation and how we need to repent and believe in the good news and that we need to “continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it” and “you must continue to believe in the truth. Don’t drift away. This isn’t a passive kind of “believe”, as in all you have to do is think it is true. When you “believe”, you live a certain way.”

You live a certain way? I did not understand what that meant until I finally asked Jesus into my heart as Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit also came into me. All of the sudden my eyes and ears were opened and I then knew what it meant to “live a certain way.” All of the sudden my sin was starting to smell really bad to me and became very evident to where I wanted to make changes in my life that I knew would be pleasing to the Lord. I now loved God with all of my heart, body soul, and strength and wanted to please Him through everything I said and did. I wanted to love my neighbor which was definatley new to me as I always thought I was the cool guy and if you were not in my circle I didn’t really care about you. All of the sudden I learned that I had certain gifts the Holy Spirit had given me(and you also) that were to be used for the Kingdom and I started to become the person He wanted me to be since I was born.

Once I became born again and the old me had gone and the new me was now here, it took a couple years to really work through alot of issues I was going through and over the last 15 years I have grown so much and had many ups and downs but through it all the Lord has been by my side the whole time. I have had to do alot of repenting, trusting, and believing but I would not have it any other way. Jesus Christ is #1 in my life and I encourage you all to believe and to “walk with Christ in a certain way.” To learn more about Jesus and the Salvation Prayer click here.

Content = Hard

Thursday, 17. February 2011 6:32

I had a rough day mentally yesterday and as soon as got home in the afternoon I was pretty tired and looking to rest. I prayed for a minute then went on to facebook to see what my friends were up to. I read the status of one of my friends and of course through this guys words the Lord spoke to me clearly. I have been having trouble lately being CONTENT in a couple areas of my life eventhough I am experiencing some awesome blessings in my life. Of course my friends post talked about being CONTENT right where you are and being ok with that. Well God I have big plans don’t you know that? Of course He knows but if and until those big plans happen be CONTENT right now as this is the plan for me at this moment.

Phillipians 4:11 says,” for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am in.” I am learning to be SATISFIED with what I have and that is hard sometimes for me. Please pray for me in this area. Father God forgive me for not being content and resting in the place you have me at this moment. I TRUST YOUR PLAN KING!

Neal

p.s.-below is a picture my mom took from her backyard yesterday. That is what CREATION is all about. Beautiful.
