Saturday, 10. December 2011 9:36

Good Saturday morning to you. I mentioned the other day that I needed some prayer as I was lacking motivation to finish my thesis project so I could finally finish my master’s degree program after 2 long years. Thanks for praying and I was able to push on through and now at the end of this weekend I should be basically done with only a few small changes that will need to be made. So please continue to pray for me over this weekend to stay motivated and on task.

Please let me know how I can pray for you by emailing me at neal@nealcaldwell.tv. Have a restful day.

Pray Pray Pray Pray Pray

Saturday, 26. November 2011 12:25

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. As you all know I am a prayer warrior and I am asking you to join me in praying for the following needs. Sometimes we don’t always understand why these things happen but what I do know is that God has a plan and all we have to do is trust and walk strong in the Lord and move forward while we are going through life’s ups and downs. Before we pray for the needs below I just want to claim a double portion of JOY over you and if you have any health issues no matter how small that YOU ARE HEALED IN THE NAME OF JESUS! If you have any other prayer needs please leave a comment below or shoot me an email.

Please pray for me as I am trying to finish up my thesis so I can finally be done with my master’s degree after 2 long years. My motivation is lacking some please pray for perseverance and clarity on what I should write for each part of the paper.

Pray for a friend who just found out her husband is divorcing her. Pray for healing in their marriage and for the Lord to speak to both of their hearts and save this marriage.

Pray for another friend who just seperated from her husband after many years of marriage.

Pray for an x-student of mine who just graduated high school after many years of struggling in his life. Pray that he will stay close to the Lord and continue to make good choices in his life that honor the Lord and his parents. Pray he can see the direction the Lord is taking him.

Pray for my x students to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I have a couple students who just got out of jail and students who are in rehab and students who are drinking and taking drugs basically everyday or their lives. This is close to my heart as I have been down that road before and know it leads to nothing but death and destruction in their lives and family’s lives.

God And Organic Foods

Saturday, 5. November 2011 19:42

Time to break my Neal To The Cross blogging sabbatical. Good evening to you all or morning depending where you are. I was just cooking up some tasty organic zucchini and organic sweet potato and poured some grass fed butter on top and just started to thank God for such good clean healthy foods that are still available. On my other blog www.DunamisFitness.com I wrote about something called the wheel of life and the wheel of death where I talked about how important organic soil is for plants, animals and us as we eat all of those. Right now I just realized I am sipping on some unpasteurized pulp free orange juice with gelatin loaded with nutrients. Thank you father God.

Anyways I want to encourage everyone to pray for protection and prosperity of organic, free range, grass fed, pastured foods. This is how God created food to originally be. There was no such thing as organic back in the day. We had to label foods organic because man started to spray all kinds of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides on foods and inject our animals with steroids and hormones.

The basic gist of the wheel of life and death is damaged soil creates damaged nutrient deficient plants, then sick drugged animals eat the damaged plants that came from the damaged soil then WE come along and eat the sick animal who ate the damaged plant that came from the damaged soil which can lead to a vast array of health issues. That is why I am a big believer in eating organic, free range, pastured, grass fed whole foods.

As an example my food menu yesterday consisted of buffalo, pastured eggs, organic watermelon, organic cantaloupe, pickling salt, coconut oil, gelatin, organic carrots, sheep’s milk cheese, unpasteurized pulp free orange juice, and dark chocolate(no soy).

In conclusion there are so many people who are sick and hurting both physically, mentally and spiritually so join with me in praying for miracalous healing of all sickness and disease you can think of. Just starting calling them out loud and claim in the name of Jesus they are healed and pray people will step up to the plate and start to take care of the one and only body they will get.

We Need To Pray

Sunday, 23. October 2011 10:03

I was reading in my daily devotion(Beside Still Waters Words Of Comfort For The Soul) this morning and this quote was all I needed to hear. “Sorrowful one, rejoice! If God is yours, what more do you need?” That is for you as well. TRUST. Below are a couple prayer requests that I would like you to join with me in lifting up to the King of Kings. HE can do anything and I know he is ready to deliver. Please let me know how I can pray for you.

Pray for the people in Turkey as they had a massive earthquake today. Lord come with signs, wonders, and miracles and show them who you are.

Please keep praying for my sister as she just had a baby boy who is doing awesome.

Pray for a co-workers husband who has ALS and is not doing well. COMPLETE HEALING!

Pray for an x student of mine who just got out of jail that he will fully commit his life to the Lord, commit to sobriety and to be the dad he knows he can be.

Pray for another x student of mine who is really searching for God right now. That God will touch his heart and reveal His Son to him.

Pray for my friends dad who just got diagnosed with prostate cancer. COMPLETE HEALING IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

Pray for me that I will stand strong as I wait on the Lord to open new doors and close any doors that need to be closed as I move forward in a couple areas of my life.

Thanks for the support.

One Of The Best Days Of My Life

Saturday, 23. July 2011 10:30

Last Saturday was one of the happiest days of my life. For many years alot of people including myself prayed for my sister to meet the man of her dreams and get married and that finally happened on May 23, 2008. It burned deep in my heart for my sister to be happy in that area in her life and her wedding day was simply amazing. Then we all started to pray for her to get pregnant and God had other plans for the moment. There were some ups and downs but I am very happy to say that she is now almost 8 months pregnant and we are all very happy and excited for her baby boy to enter this world.

This past Saturday we had a baby shower at my parents house and 30 of my sisters friends came over to celebrate and talk and talk and talk and talk and open presents and just hang out and enjoy my sister as she is in town from Washington where she now lives. The guys took off at the beginning of the shower but I wanted to come back toward the end so I could watch my sister open her gifts from all the ladies. Let me tell you there were a ton of gifts and I was so happy I could be there to help out and watch my sister be so happy in this moment.

Please pray for her and her son during the last couple weeks of her pregnancy. Enjoy the videos below. The Lord has anwered my prayers and I am so thankful. When you WAIT on the Lord this is exactly what happens. HIS perfect plan.

Waiting On God

Thursday, 21. July 2011 9:22

I am still reading “The Fire Of Delayed Answers” by Bob Sorge and every page I read really speaks to me in some deep way. I only read a couple pages at a time and then I sit back and let it sink in. I pray and then sit quietley to see if I can hear any more information from the Lord. I have been learning about the “Quietness Camp” which calls for absolute surrender and restful waiting and the “Confidence Camp” which is fervent seeking and how during this time in my life I need both.

As many of you know I like to make things happen and happen now. I don’t like to wait and I like to make sure people are taken care of. But somtimes God says to WAIT. I have been praying for 2 areas in my life, one area for 16 years, and one for 14 years and I have had to learn how to WAIT(with alot of complaining) for quite a while. Here is another quote from the book that sums up what we need to do when we are WAITING or if some kind of crisis hits. “Find a place of quietness in Me by setting your soul and stilling your spirit, and relinquishing everthing into My hands; and let your heart rise up in confidence in Me, by pressing into My face, devouring My word, claiming My promises, and making the good confession!

As you can see below, I wrote “Wait On God” on a piece of paper and taped it to my wall so it could be a daily reminder on what I need to do. “The greater the wait, the greater the work.”

All prayers would be appreciated. Let me know how I can pray for you or if you WAITING like I am, please let me know what’s going on with you.

Ashton’s Gift Of Life
July 11, 2011

Dear Mrs. Sweet,

On behalf of OneLegacy, we would like to again express our deepest sympathy on the death of your daughter, Ashton. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. It is our hope that knowing the results of your generous gift will bring some comfort to you and your family. Your compassionate decision to donate has positively touched the lives of many people.

Ashton’s left kidney was tranplanted into a 36 year old man in California. He is married and has one daughter. We are told that with his gift of life, he now has good kidney function.

A 78 year old man from Hawaii is the recipient of Ashton’s right kidney. This gentleman is married and the father of two. He is a physician who enjoys working on his farm and growing his own vegetables and berries. We are told he is also doing well.

A large segment of Ashton’s liver was transplanted into an 11 year old girl in California. the transplant coordinator tells us that this recipient is doing well and looks forward to returning to school and being with her friends again. The family is very grateful for this life saving gift.

A smaller segment of Ashton’s liver was transplanted into a 14 month old baby boy. This recipient has a sister and he is doing well, at home with his family.

Ashton’s heart recipient is a 16 year old girl in California. With her gift of life, this recipient is doing well and is expected to make a full recovery.

In addition, tissue donation is a gift of immesurable value as there are many thousands of people waiting for a tissie transplant that will enable them to return to a normal life. We recovered bone and cornea tissue. Ashton’s bone and ligament tissue may restore quality of life to those that may have suffered traumatic injuries, joint injuries, cancerous tumours, back injuries, or degenerative disease. This could help people walk, run, and live healthy lives again. Her cornea tissues can restore sight to one or two people who have been devastated by the loss of sight; the gift of restored vision is miraculous.

We understand that words cannot eliminate the pain that you and your family may feel, and we hope that in the time ahead you will gain some comfort in knowing that your compassionate decision to donate helped others. On behalf of OneLegacy, the recipients, their families, and the transplant centers, we thank you for your compassion. We are here to be your companions on your journey towards hope and healing. Please feel free to contact me at xxx-xxx-xxxx, ext. xxxx if you have questions, are in need of grief support services, referrals to resources in your community, or would like medical updates on the recipients in the future.

Sincerely,
Kari Kozuki, LCSW

Back From Vacation = Schooled By The Lord

Sunday, 3. July 2011 16:16

I was down in Pacific Beach last week for a much needed vacation. If you remember from my testimony(click here to watch it now) I went to San Diego State but lived in Pacific Beach for those 3 years. As a quick reminder my first year at SDSU was a time of pure debauchery if you get my drift and at the end of my first year that is when my life took a different turn in a blink of an eye. Those last 2 years at SDSU were probably my most difficult years of my life both mentally/emotionally and physically. But those 2 years in the fire helped me grow into the person I am today. PRAISE YOU FOR THAT KING JESUS!(as I just typed that sentence I almost started crying but I am in the library and that might be weird lol)

With that said, I went down to Pacific Beach to rest and recharge for a couple days and I had a nice time of beach activities and ONE ON ONE TIME WITH THE LORD. As a matter of fact the Lord was up in my grill the whole time and I was able to learn a lot about myself and about Him and HIS plans for me. I mentioned a couple posts ago that the Lord was speaking to me through Psalm 22 and 23 and through a new series at Saddleback Church called “The Invisible War” part 1 “When You Feel Like Giving Up” and yesterday was part 2 “The Invsible War.” I really encourage you guys to click here and watch the archived videos along with printing out the study notes. Part 3 continues next week.

The way the Lord was up in my grill was through the book I am reading called “The Fire Of Delayed Answers” by Bob Sorge. This book has really answered a lot of the questions I have had recently about my life. The Bible is the owners manual for life but it’s nice to have on fire Chirstian writer’s who have also gone through the fire personally and then write about it backed up with scripture.

Every other sentence in this book really hit home for me. One sentence I really liked was on page 28, “Once the words of life have touched your soul, and you’ve beheld the beauty of His face through the word’s He’s spoken, you’re hooked.” He is talking about Jesus here and for me in 1996 while I was going to school at SDSU that is when the fire hit and finally understood what Jesus did for me and you AND I WAS HOOKED.
During this time of “delayed answers” in my life I think I got caught up in saying “I” want to do “this” for you Lord or “I” want to do “that” for you Lord and wouldn’t that be awesome. But of course in the first couple pages of the book “The Fire Of Delayed Answers” Bob says “When our passion for God becomes the foremost fire in our lives, then the impacting of other’s lives becomes the inevitable outflow of that dynamic relationship with God.” So that is what I am doing. Seeking God’s face first and then everything that happens after that is gravy. He has me right where he wants me during the time in my life. I know I have a lot of work to do on myself to be all God wants me to be. Please pray for that.

To sum this all up while I was in Pacific Beach I could still feel the party atmosphere, the hurting, the lost, the addicted, the EMPTINESS just like when I lived there in college. I have felt this feeling a couple different places in my life and it was heavy there. I felt an overwhelming need to pray every time I went out to surf or ride my long skateboard. When I went to chill on the beach or go for a walk or run on the boardwalk which was just packed with young people. On Thursday night after a nice long skateboarding session I walked out of my hotel room and just chilled out on some benches right in the middle of a bunch of homeless people. I knew by just sitting there the Lord would do something.

To make a long story a short a guy named Anthony walked over and said nice shirt to me and from there it was on. I was able to listen to his story and talk about Jesus and I know a seed was planted in his heart. Please pray for him as he is suicidal, going through some legal issues, homeless, and having family issues. Come Jesus do a mighty work TODAY! Not to long after that a 21year old by the name of Rachel just walked up and sat right down next to me and we started talking. She was drunk and just got off the plane from Texas. Pray for her as she was totally lost. I saw a lot of me in her when I was 21. All about having fun without a care in the world(or so I thought). Pray for her salvation and guidance for the right career for her. I encourage you to join with me to pray over La Jolla, Pacific Beach, and Mission Beach. Pray for revival and healing over those cities.

The Lord is molding me every day. I am a work in progress yet willing to do the work. The first step is that you need to realize that you are a sinner and need a Lord and Savior in your life. Once you admit that then you can ask Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior. You can do that by clicking here and saying the salvation prayer. If you make this decision please let me know so I can pray for you or answer any questions you may have. There is freedom in Christ Jesus!

Neal
